DEAFNESS AND BLINDNESS.

Deaf blindness refers to a child with both hearing and visual disabilities. deafblindness is not caused by single medical condition. people can be born deafbilnd, possibly as result of infection, genetic of syndrome or birth trauma.

They face challenges every day . they face discrimination. People try to ignore them like they dont exists. People see them as they are less than us. I have to blind girls in my "learners for expectational leaders class". they talk about their experinces they have with people. they say when they are around people that can see they feel like they are being less and ignored by them . its because we make them feel that way. They also say for example when they go to restaurants to eat and they are with family members the waitress may say like " whats does she want to eat ?" like she doesn't hear or like she is not there. i believe if people treat them like they exit it would have been easier for them to interact or communicate with people.
